Credit card points value calculator

The same points can be worth 3× more one way than another, which is why every site quotes a different number. This shows the honest range: the cash floor and a conservative travel value.

Why two numbers, not one

A statement credit, a portal booking, and a transfer-partner award can value the exact same points 3× apart. Sites that quote one number picked one of those without telling you. The floor here is what the bank will actually pay you in cash. The travel number is a conservative blended value for people who transfer points to airline and hotel partners, not a best-case screenshot.

Hotel and airline points have no cash row

Hilton, Marriott, Delta and the other co-brand programs generally can't be cashed out, so showing a cash value for them would be made up. Their travel value per point is also much lower than bank points, which is why a 6x hotel card is often worth less per dollar than a 2x transferable card.

Where these values come from

They're the same values the RightCard app uses to compare cards. Cash-out rates are the banks' own published redemptions. Each travel value is the middle of four sources that publish current numbers (The Points Guy, Frequent Miler, Upgraded Points and One Mile at a Time), rounded down, and never above it. We re-check them every month; last checked September 2026. See every source's number. If your redemptions are better than these, your points are worth more than shown, and good for you.

One wrinkle worth knowing

Chase Freedom and Ink Cash points pool into Ultimate Rewards travel value only if you also hold a Sapphire or Ink Preferred. Citi Custom Cash and Double Cash points work the same way with a Premier or Prestige. Solo, they're 1¢ cash points. The app checks your actual wallet for this automatically.
