RightCard Terms of Service

Effective date: July 13, 2026

These terms apply when you download or use the RightCard iOS app, its Safari extension and widget, or this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What RightCard is (and isn't)

RightCard helps you choose which of your own credit cards to use for a purchase, based on publicly available reward information and the card offers you choose to sync. It is an informational tool:

Reward and offer information

Card reward rates, rotating categories, benefits, and offers are set by the issuing banks and change frequently and without notice. We work to keep RightCard's data accurate and current, and where we're unsure we prefer to show a conservative base rate rather than guess — but:

The Safari extension

The optional RightCard Safari extension runs only on card-issuer websites, only in your own browser session, and only reads the card offers those sites display to you so it can add them to your card and sync them into the app. It never collects credentials or account details. You are responsible for your accounts with your bank and for complying with your bank's own website terms.

Your account

An account is optional. If you create one (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email), you're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can sign out or permanently delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the Service (for example, attempting to disrupt the backend or other users' data).

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only as intended and lawfully. You will not attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data, scrape or bulk-extract the Service's data, or use the Service to build a competing dataset.

Intellectual property

The RightCard app, website, name, and design are owned by the developer. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond the personal, non-transferable license to use the app that you receive through the App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost rewards, missed offers, or bank decisions, arising out of your use of the Service. The Service is free; to the extent any liability is found, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (which is $0).

Changes to the Service and these terms

RightCard is actively developed: features may change, and we may update these terms. If we change them, we'll update the effective date and publish the new version at this same URL. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
